Handmade Royal Hair Staff | Traditional African Figural Horsetail Whisk (Irukere, Nza) Handy

The Nza is a horsetail that formed part of leadership regalia in Africa. The Horsetail has its origin in Nigeria and is common among the Igbo, Yoruba, and Edo people of Nigeria. It is used by Chiefs, Traditional Rulers, Kings, Queens, and Monarchs as a tool for blessing the people. The Horsetail, popularly known as Irukere in Yoruba, is an integral part of the traditional clothing accessories of Kings. It is a symbol of authority and signifies respect and honor.

In Modern African native attire, the Nza/Irukere is used to dress up elegantly for Weddings, Coronations, Parties, Traditional dances, and Special ceremonies.

The African Horsetail is also ideal for Cultural dances, Festivals, Traditional Weddings, Birthdays, Wedding Photoshoots, Art&Craft, and Home décor.
